Keep required pilot cases and failed attempts in the file.

A successful demo leaves the acceptance question open. Review the required cases, attempted cases and exclusions before the institution records a decision.

The review question and the inputs.

For a pilot owner or risk officer facing an approval date, including a fintech and its institution partner.

  • The pilot purpose, selected workflow and proposed acceptance conditions
  • The required case list and declared exclusions
  • Redacted attempt records, including the instruction used and reported result
  • The roles responsible for business acceptance and risk review

The file your team keeps.

A six-column file of the pilot, evidence and acceptance questions A case register retaining failed attempts and missing cases

Six columns: Use, Where it runs, Data it can touch, Owner, Evidence on hand, Question still open. The institution fills the decision line.

How the pilot acceptance works.

  1. Set the acceptance conditions

Write down the decision the pilot must support, the required cases and the exclusions. Agree those conditions before interpreting the supplied results.

  2. Keep the attempt record intact

Prepare each supplied attempt with its instruction and reported result. A later pass with a different instruction stays beside the earlier failure.

  3. Check the required cases

Compare the attempt register with the required list. Keep a failed attempt or missing case visible instead of counting the case as a pass.

  4. Record the acceptance review

Give the reviewer the cases, exclusions and questions still open. Wait, narrow, or do not buy are valid answers.
